Qiuzi Walnuts are instantly identifiable by their predominantly tall, slender profile, sharp tapering tips, and highly variable wild grain patterns—a stark contrast to the round, stocky Lion Head varieties. They feature multi-ridged edges (1 to 9 ridges, with 2-ridged being standard; 3/4-ridged and double-conjoined variants are rare and collectible), a plump mid-section that tapers toward both ends, and a narrow base with a distinct phoenix-eye navel.
