Also known as Jade Qilin Lion Head, it is a protected geographical indication walnut breed originating from Shimen, Lulong, Hebei Province, mainly produced in the Taihang Mountain area of Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang. It belongs to compact small-size wenwan walnut, with mainstream dimensions ranging from 36mm to 40mm, favored by collectors who prefer petite palm-sized pieces.

It features a classic low-pile ingot silhouette with a sealed dull tip, thick sturdy edges and an oversized plump belly, perfectly mimicking ancient Chinese gold ingots that symbolize wealth and fortune. The grain is shallow and neat without sharp burrs, extremely effortless to brush and maintain. Its bottom is a stable lotus leaf base that can stand upright steadily.

Boasting ultra-high bone density and premium waxy red cortex, it delivers prominent sinking weight and crisp knocking resonance when tapped. Endowed with abundant natural inherent grease, it oxidizes rapidly during daily rolling, developing bright chicken-blood red patina quickly and eventually forming translucent jade vitrification glaze with long-term care.

Prone to slight natural asymmetry, finely paired flawless sets are well-received among entry-level collectors and female enthusiasts for its delicate shape and cost-effective value.
