Snake-Head is a rare, high-end irregular walnut, formed by natural genetic mutation. It features an elongated, forward-curving apex that strikingly resembles a snake's raised head. The body is typically high-styled with sloped shoulders, and possesses deep, bold, continuous python-skin patterns that flow from the top to the base. It often has a distinctive "treasure bowl" base. With dense, hard texture and high oil content, it offers a substantial, weighty feel and develops a deep, translucent, ruby-red patina with proper handling.
