Kirin Pattern Wenwan Walnut

A popular and grand variety, also known as Wang Yong Official Hat. It features a high to medium-high stump with a prominent, sharp apex and broad, wide-spreading edges, resembling an official's hat. The most defining trait is its bold, rugged, and deep scales-like texture, mimicking the scales of the mythical Qilin beast. The body is large and full, with a flat, stable base. The cortex is exceptionally thick, hard, and dense, providing a substantial, weighty feel in hand. It has good oil content, colors relatively quickly, and matures to a brilliant jujube red or deep agate red with a translucent, glassy patina.
