A distinctive and rare variety native to the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi. It features a medium-high stump with iconic broad, flat, flared shoulders, resembling a general's armored pauldon. The body is compact and full, with fine, neat, and unobtrusive ridges. It is defined by an extremely hard, dense skeleton that provides a heavy, substantial feel and a clear, stone-like sound when tapped. The skin is typically a ginger-yellow hue, rich in oil, and polishes slowly to a deep, translucent oxblood red with strong jade-like translucency. A key identifier is its distinctive diamond-shaped base scar.
